Whether you are looking to produce a short, family video or a full-length documentary, our style will compliment your subject matter. We let the subject matter be itself.

about trilobyte pictures

We specialize in non-profit documentary, promoting organizations artfully, without commercial sentiment. Many of our clients want a finished product that they will be able to use as a fundraising and development tool, but that simultaneously represents and archives their mission in a movie that stands on its own. That is what we aim to bring them, and they tell us that we've succeeded!

We take great care in researching our topic before embarking upon a new movie. A good pre-production phase is the first key to a great final product. We are open to learning about new topics and ideas, and welcome a challenging subject matter.

Much of our documentary work focuses on issues of poverty and health care. Our view of health care is very holistic-our bodies are not just a foot or an earlobe, but a complex and intricate union of many systems. We like pursuing documentary subjects that examine how external factors can affect our health. For instance, we recently produced a piece about organic farming and the benefits of pesticide-free food in our bodies. We also sub-specialize in women's issues and the policies and legislature that affects marginalized groups of society.

We also provide wedding videography; to learn more, click here For our own families, we have really enjoyed editing home movies quite a bit. We welcome editing projects that involve creating montages utilizing YOUR home movies or photographs. These types of projects often work well set to your favorite music. If you have an aunt or a sister who is a closeted dance machine, this would be a good way to expose them! (We certainly have done such a thing to our families.) Family footage can be really fun to work with. Photo or video montages can also be a touching tribute to a family member who has passed away. Whatever you have in mind, we are happy to discuss the possibilities!
